Pelican Grill re-opens with a new flair!

The Pelican Grill has recently reopened at the Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport and the food is better than ever. With a terrace that overlooks the water, as well as many vantage points from inside the dining room, it is a wonderful place to dine.

Start your meal with the Prawn Cocktail. It is to die for! The prawns sit beautifully in an ice sorbet dish; yes, a sorbet dish made of ice. Having the prawns on the ice creates an appetizer of elegance and splendor, instead of having the prawns buried in a mound of ice.
This beautiful piece is created by Carving Ice of Anaheim, Ca. The popularity of these ice dishes is so great that Carving Ice and The Pelican Grill have an agreement to keep providing them. Carving Ice will also be providing several larger ice sculptures at The Pelican Grill New Year’s Eve party, as well as the AquaSermo.
